If you want to overland Africa, you need the Tracks4Africa Traveller’s Africa GPS Maps. Version 21.10 has been updated with tracks, places to stay and points of interest. Plus it comes preloaded on an SD card for ease of use.
It pays to travel informed – and that means having maps based on first-hand, current traveller data. For this reason we update our GPS maps twice a year and Traveller’s Africa GPS Maps version 21.10 has just been released.
T4A’s experienced mapping team processed 356 data submissions for Traveller’s Africa GPS Maps version 21.10. This not only contributed more roads and points of interest (POI); it also improved the quality of existing data thanks to traveller feedback.
What’s more, this update also benefited from the work we have been doing on our new road atlas project for Southern and Eastern Africa. To update the road atlas, we carried out comprehensive map clean-up and standardisation. At the same time, our POI content team worked through the entire region to add new POIs to the database. Keep an eye out for the atlas, which will be released in the next quarter.
GPS maps on the SD Card
Our user-friendly GPS Maps package has a preloaded micro SD card with standard adapter, ready for plug and navigate. The SD card is compatible with most map-capable Garmin units and has been tested with the latest drive products as well. Note that this product does not work with iGO in-car navigation systems, Android or iOS devices.
There are also installation files for PC and Mac users who want to install the maps on their computers for trip planning. In this way you can also transfer maps to older Garmin units such as the 276c, 76csx and previous generation eTrex.
Need help on how to use the SD Card with your computer? Our video guides have you covered.
